the coming together of individuals sharing a common objective and common
ideals.
Our professional team represents generations of experience within both
the care sector and construction as can be seen from the following;-
Richard Balmforth (Guild - Managing Director)
Richard has had some 35 years experience within the construction industry,
having founded Balmforth Homes Ltd. and responsible for developing some
220 sites within Norfolk to date, earning an enviable reputation for build-quality
and integrity, and enjoying the highest rating awarded by NHBC in recognition
of two generations of claim-free housebuilding.
Michael Day Bsc. MRSH, MIoA (Guild - Technical
Director)
Michael has been long-established as MD of SBR Ltd., specialising in the
design, building and refurbishment of care-related buildings, particularly
nursing and residential homes. Putting some of these skills into practice
with his wife Christine, they have also run a number of highly successful
care and nursing homes.
Christine Day RGN. ScM. HV. Cert (Guild - Care
Consultant)
As a highly qualified nurse, Christine has had experience in all aspects
of nursing, concentrating in the last 20 years on providing high quality
care for the elderly, successfully running her own nursing and residential
homes with the emphasis on high-quality and professionalism. More recently
Christine has run her own Care Consultancy, her experience proving invaluable
as she assumes responsibility for the provision of staff, services and facilities.
As a team, we formed Guild Retirement Housing with the highest of ideals.
