Assisted Living
Assisted Living is an innovative concept in retirement care, wherein each
owner has a package of amenities and facilities available to take the stresses
and strains out of daily life. Some of these are included in the basic service
charge and others are available as an extra, whether in the short or longer-term.

For those residents with a greater level of dependency, having resident
staff enables us to assist with the provision of extra care and assistance
- perhaps during an illness, following surgery or indeed in the longer term.
Where optional facilities are taken up, the cost is added to the service
charge, though for only as long as it is needed. You don't therefore pay
for any services that you don't need.

All our owners appreciate the 90 minutes of domestic assistance provided
each week (by resident staff), usually used for domestic cleaning. However,
that time is yours to use as you wish, and can be used for ironing, shopping
or other chores. If more than 90 minutes is needed, the extra time can of
course be available by arrangement.
Each of our developments also features an Owners' Dining Room in which
a freshly-cooked and nutritious meal is available daily, which can be delivered
to your apartment if preferred. Guest suites are also available for short-term
use, so that visiting friends and relations can stay overnight.
Before moving in, each resident has a relaxed and informal consultation
with one of our qualified Care Consultants to assess their particular needs
- whether these may be domestic, medical, modifications to their apartment,
or even the provision of a hot daily meal. In that way, a care program is
personalised from the outset, and updated by further consultations whenever
necessary.
Thankfully many residents are still very active and independent, not requiring
any extra assistance for the time being. It is comforting however, to know
that extra help is available when it is needed, from people that you will
have come to know and trust.
